    hahahaha great episode. I have the same philosophy that you Andrew. For me, depends on type of bug. Some bugs I just killing them and that's it (for example the cockroach) other bugs I use something to catch and put them outside my house or yard ( For example the bee) 😂😂. The completion code is Tissue!!

    Hello there, and thank you for this enjoyable lesson. I regularly visit Western Canada because one of my children lives with her family in North Vancouver. We always enjoy nice weather in the summer, spring, or autumn. We have visited the Sunshine Coast several times, as well as Kelowna, Penticton, and Vancouver Island (Victoria, Ucluelet, Tofino, etc.). Last September, we had the opportunity to visit the Rocky Mountains for the first time, including Banff. Personally, I appreciated Moraine Lake and Peyto Lake more than Lake Louise. The whole countryside is just stunning. I heard recently that Jasper was severely affected by forest fires; it's a pity for those people who have lost their homes and the beautiful environment. Have a great meeting in Japan and a pleasant trip to Canada soon. See you later!

    I have a question: If I listen without understanding some parts, does the language develop like this?

    • @Culips
      @Culips 3 дні тому

      Yes, absolutely. Immersion is very beneficial even if you don't understand everything. Your brain processes language patterns subconsciously, improving your understanding of the language over time. However, combining immersion with active study can help you make faster progress, which is why we create interactive transcripts, vocabulary glossaries, and quizzes for the bonus episodes 🙌.

    The story was too funny. When I imagin you were carrying 5 Kg coins in a bag, I can't stop laughing, Oh my gosh, you are going to kill me.🤣🤣😂😂 It was a reminder of my early days in Canada after emigration. There was a lineup when I went to a bank to open a bank account. I was looking for a kiosk, and the security told me, “There is no kiosk; you have to stay in the queue until it becomes your turn.” It was shocking, what the heck, whether you are a senior or have a health issue, you must stay in line. Also, if you want to open a bank account, you should book an appointment in advance. Moreover, you must wait several days or over a week to receive your debit card until the post delivers it. Same experience, Andrew.😃😃 Talking about coins and e-pay, compared to my country, I would like to say that people in my country prefer to use debit cards instead of cash (we don’t have credit cards). Even older adults who are not literate, because it is much faster and easier, you don’t need to carry lots of money and coins in your wallet. Although the majority of people in Canada pay with their cards, spending cash is incredibly common. I used to work as a cashier in a grocery store for a while and at first, it was weird for me why people tend to pay cash instead of using cards or other electronic payments. Cash handling was indeed a nightmare for me in the first few days. After over a year of living in Canada, I found out why people prefer to spend cash and carry many coins.😉😉 By the way, Andrew, do you think it is worth carrying all your Canadian coins to Canada when you come back here? Due to the weight limit for air travel.😁😁
